LA UNION Adventure Guide

LA UNION Adventure Guide

One of northern Philippine's charming destinations, often referred to as Surf Town, La Union is a cute, rustic and stylish coastal town. Beloved by locals for its waves, colorful residing personalities, idyllic restaurants and bars overlooking the gray sandy beaches.

La Union was also the backdrop for our SUNCHILD camaign shoot.

Here, our team shares their bespoke guide to surf town, including where to stay, swim, dine and adventure.

How to access La Union

Surf Town, La Union is only a few hours drive from Manila. We recommend taking your own car or motorbike to help you access remote locations. Travelling by bus is also possible, making it the cost effective option. Companies like Partas and Viron Transit offer regular services from Manila to La Union. The journey starts from bus terminals in Manila and ends in various drop-off points in La Union. Once you arrive in La Union, you can rent tricycles to access remote locations.

Where did you look to for sources of inspiration?

We have always been inspired by the allure of adventuer when bringing our collections to life. Whether it’s a surf trip, free diving with the fish or simply soaking up the sun, our pieces are designed to transcend from day to day to your holiday wardrobe.

Our SUNCHILD island wear is a celebration of all the times the sun has given us courage and clarity. It is for that steady fire that it gives to keep us moving, twirling, and embracing life as it is. It is for the Sun that gives us endless guiding inspiration, and for every woman who believes that to be under it is divine.

Where to stay

Located in a secluded area of La Union, our team felt at home in beautiful botique hotel, Natalna, La Union. With a wide expanse of empty beach line in their front yard and the peaceful aura of their space, accomodating staff, well made menu of their restaurant and their attention to detail when it comes to their services, puts Natalna on the top of our recommendations. We cant recommend this place more.
